I'm going to presuppose the Criteria debate here. Any thoughts on resolving this would be useful.

Tue Nov 27 2018 updates: Adding entries, thinking of formats[edit]

I've just finished adding the communities I'm aware of (mostly through G+MM announcement re-shares) having announced either final decisions or pending ones. I've also linked in some statistics on G+ community stats which we've been researching over the past few days. Nothing like this exists so far as I know.

I'd like this page to be self-service and self-perpetuating. I'm well aware it has problems in that regard. Using MediaWiki as a structured database works badly. Open to suggestions.

I'm also open to changing the format if something else proves more useful. I've just expanded this to include annoucement as well as location information, and I'm starting to add date. So that gives us:

  • Community name (linked to G+ community page)
  • Description
  • Announcement (and date)
  • forum blog microblog social wiki and feed links

Note that trying to sort out what is what kind of link is ... arbitrary. And I saw a group with a mailing list specified, so that might need to be added.

The actual markup is ugly. Wiki templates are a possible alternative. Shrug.
